Uptown Dog is Boulder County's finest dog care facility and behavior center. We offer upscale dog daycare, boarding and dog training services in Longmont, Colorado. All staff members are certified in Pet CPR/First Aid by the American Red Cross and receive essential and ongoing training in Dog Behavior and Dog Psychology. When dogs arrive at Uptown Dog, we begin the evaluation process to help us understand their temperament and play style before allowing participation in any pack activities. Because our facility is equipped with up to six different activity areas, we can accommodate dogs of all shapes, sizes and play styles.
At Uptown Dog, we strive to educate our clients about the principles of Dog Psychology and how to apply them. We work to teach and equip you with the proper information and tools to promote understanding in learning how to effectively communicate with your dog. Whether you're interested in obedience training, eliminating undesired behaviors, or just un-derstanding your dog better, we can help. We believe that dog training is simple. However, it isn't always easy to put it all together. Each dog is an individual with specific needs, and these needs can change over time. There's no magic formula that works for every dog.
